Quote from Kids Educational/Workplace Ideas :
Designing a kid’s workspace can be mind – boggling for many. To visualize the basic architecture involved in the cultivation of a unique space, it becomes imperative to understand the basic requirements of the designing. Hence, here are some ideas that may work or at least assist in the final formulation of the Kids Workplace.
- Modest look
It is very important to undermine the looks of the workplace area in order to prevent or minimize any distractions possible. The color theme should be subtle that would inspire the child to fill in his / her own thoughts to a greater extent.
- Subtle Furnishing
The furnishing for the workplace area should be minimal and assertive in instilling bright thoughts in the kids mind. A decent desk, an ergonomic chair, affluent storage areas, bright lighting and self – effacing finishing under a single roof would provide the best simulation for the child’s mind to grow and his / her body to work. Books, artworks, garden tools, or anything that fascinates the child should be assembled well to allow the child one view entrance into his / her thoughts. It is obsolete to make sure that uncluttered desks and shelves are the priority of a directed mind.
The workplace area may not necessarily be huge in size but needs to assert the right kind of environment that the child desires to work in. It could be a small enclosed area filled with creative ideas or an ordinary shade in an open space that interests the child and lends them the atmosphere to enrich their minds. The noise levels should be in balance with what the child desires for a positive action. The distractions in the nearby space should be minimal for the productive mind to focus.
The workplace walls need not be fancy. Hence, colourful or theme based wallpapers should be avoided. Subtle artworks or modern art with unique picturizations may be well made use of. However, the walls could even be decorated with inspiring idols’ photos or portraits or motivational one – liners. An overall atmosphere of encouragement and positive vibes would increase the kids’ engagement, the child’s way.
