Client Living Room- UPDATES!!

We’re SO excited to share our client’s living room with you guys today!  Last week I showed you the “before” pics along with a mood board we created for her space, and this past weekend we spent some time at her place getting our decorating on!

John and I created a DIY galvanized pipe curtain rod for her wall of windows.  A post on how we made it is coming soon, but without further ado, here are some photos of her updated living area!

We went with sheer curtains to keep the space light and airy.  Her ceilings are already 9ft tall, but the 108″ floor to ceiling curtains hung high and wide make them look so much taller!

She is soon to have an AMAZING piece of sentimental art above her couch.  It’s going to take that wall to another level.   Can’t wait to share!

We hung the shell chandelier in the corner (see above pic!), and I love the way the light coming in hits it. Her couch is from a furniture boutique in Miami, and I am soooo in love with the gray/white/chrome combo.

She needed a place for her trendy mirror, and we all decided the wall next to her staircase was the perfect spot to reflect even more light.

I’ll leave you with one shot of the DIY rod–

Deets on this to come soon!  And one more because before and after shots are always fun:

Our client loves her new space so much she texted me this morning telling me she loved waking up to it today! That’s a great feeling. :)

Have a great week, friends!

I can’t thank you both enough for what you have done to my place! I did have an idea of what I wanted it to be and most importantly feel and you both magically helped me make it happen. The curtains are just simply beautiful and they do surely touch the space in a very serene way, which was originally the feel I wanted to accomplish. I wanted to feel a sense of peace and serenity. The illusion that the curtains give to the room simply make the concept happen effortlessly. As silly as it sounds, I look forward every day to waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee while sitting in my living room or from my balcony, which has become my favorite space to admire the curtains from. It is truly incredible how large and open the windows look with that amazing and long curtain rod. Thank you guys for all your efforts! Your passion for interior design and desire to make people like me happy is the perfect combination for anyone who is truly looking for that magical experience. I wanted a touch of your simplistic but yet dreamy style, and you both made it happen!!!!
